Same-day Internet Reservations
Many accommodation websites have a 48 hours safety net when it comes to confirming a reservation. This means that visitors can only
make a reservation if their arrival date is more than 2 days in advance.
We have removed this restriction from our consumer portal GoIreland.com and from our network of affiliate websites.
Properties of all sizes can receive online, confirmed reservations on the day before, and the same day as arrival.
Notification of these reservations will come automatically through Gullnet as normal. Same-day Internet reservations can be received up until 9pm each evening.
Reservations coming from the Tourist Information Offices and the Gulliver Ireland Call Centre will operate as normal - i.e. you will receive a courtesy phone call if arrival is within 48 hours.

Postal/Telephone Notification Option
The alternative to Gullnet is to maintain allocation by telephone and receive your reservation notifications/cancellations by post.
However, if the arrival date is within 7 days of the reservation, you will just receive a telephone call informing you of the reservation.
Premises who allocated by telephone will not received Internet reservations if the arrival date is within 7 days of the reservation.
Our Customer Support Team is available to update availability and allocation changes on your behalf. Simply call the
Support Team when you need to set up allocation or take rooms back.
N.B. for all allocation members:
If the arrival date is within 48 hours of the reservation, you will receive a courtesy telephone call from the Gulliver Ireland Call Centre or the
Tourist Information Office to inform you of the reservation. This policy is standard for all allocation properties.
Request Membership Option
As a Request premises, details of the rooms can be viewed on the system in the Tourist Information Offices and in the Gulliver Ireland Call Centre but
none of these rooms have been allocated for computerised reservations.
The reservation outlets will need to contact Request properties directly in order to “Request” a room. This is time-consuming and costly and is a less attractive
alternative to the reservation of an Allocation property.
Our policy is to book Request properties only when appropriate allocation properties are not available, are not suitable or when specifically requested by a customer.
Request properties cannot be booked over the Internet.
